For almost 50 years I have been involved in the market for historic vehicles and, along with a few others, I am one of the pioneers in this field. Over the years, my name has become one of the leading and most established dealerships worldwide. Nevertheless, our portfolio today also includes modern classics and contemporary rarities in limited editions.
Thanks to our expertise and close network in the classic car collector scene, we have built up a wide international reputation.
From 2019, I have been operating under the brand name ‘EBERHARD THIESEN Automobile Raritäten seit 1972’ at a location in the north of Hamburg. Since 2021, Bastian Hubald has been on board as a partner in our business, who has almost 20 years of experience in this field.
Our extensive experience and know-how have resulted in the sale of almost 10,000 classic cars over the decades. TR - TERRIFIC REFINEMENT. The 1985 Testarossa was a milestone for Ferrari and kicked-off a new, sophisticated era – in particular by Pininfarina's sensational design. The side flanks, which begin in the door and widen over the fenders to the rear, and the large ribbed air intakes were a true "form follows function" innovation. To this day, they are one of the best-known automobile design features.
The designation Testarossa was derived from Ferrari heritage meaning "red head" – a tribute to the successful racing models 500 and 250 Testa Rossa of the late 1950s, which had red-painted cylinder heads. In 1991, the Testarossa was modified to the 512 TR with an improved 4.9-liter engine developing 428 hp (before 390 hp) and a top speed of 314 km/h. There were also a modernised front design, new alloy wheels and an upgraded interior.
Our 1993 example is of very high-quality with a mileage of only 57,500 km. It was first delivered by Tamsen in Bremen and remained in Germany with a complete ownership history. The classic Rosso Corsa paintwork is largely original (except front flap) and the ‘matching numbers’ engine has a full service history with the last timing belt change 1,000 km ago. This ultimate (design) icon among the younger Ferrari classics comes with its on-board folder including all booklets and original tool kit for an asking price of EUR 235,000.

READY FOR (CLASSIC) RACING. The Ferrari 275 GTB/4 is one of the most advanced Ferrari models of the 1960s and sought-after today having a milestone impact on the legendary brand. Its V12 front engine came up with four camshafts (the ‘4’ in the designation), dry sump lubrication and six Weber twin carburettors for a power output of 300 hp. Together with the ‘first for Ferrari’ transaxle concept this model was best placed to continue Ferrari's winning genes in motorsport, especially in endurance and road races. In terms of design, the dynamic Gran Turismo inspires with a long bonnet, aerodynamic headlight covers and a flowing roof shape as a fastback coupé.
Our 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 was originally owned by Scuderia Filipinetti, a well-known Swiss racing team, where it was available as a competition car until 1969. In the following it was mostly owned by Ferrari connoisseurs and (historic) motorsport enthusiasts providing a common thread in its history. Equipped with an exhaust system of the 250 GTO, a roll cage, racing fuel tank, outside filler cap and fire extinguishing system it is ready for historic motorsport. The car is accompanied by a Ferrari Classiche Red Book and a Marcel Massini report.
This 275 GTB/4 perfectly represents the legendary aura and essence of Ferrari: a racy sports car with the success DNA from motorsport. Today, such classic four-cam models are eligible for many international rallies like the Tour de France and Passione Engadina, as well as specific historic racing events.

PHENOMENAL PHANTOM II (Part 2). A Rolls Royce Phantom II is a prestigious and impressive statement of automobile luxury between 1929 and 1935. The model contributed significantly to the brand's reputation as a synonym for automobile luxury to this day and its claim to be ‘the best car in the world’. Power is provided by a 7.7 litre inline six-cylinder generating 120 hp at just 3,500 rpm to ensure a strong performance and very smooth running.
Our 1929 example is a saloon by Mulliner with a raised roof line, offering plenty of interior space and an imposing, stately look. This car was part of a Swiss private collection for over 40 years and previously had its home already in Switzerland. It features a largely original condition, but is well preserved including the first, beautifully patinated leather interior. Two charming details are the lovely flower vases at the B-pillars and the original steel sliding roof.
This Phantom II is a sublime driving experience with an aristocratic touch. Let’s imagine travelling through a historical Agatha Christie crime novel or the Downtown Abbey movie with this car.

This car was part of a Swiss private collection for over 40 years and previously had its home already in Switzerland. This RR Phantom II is a sophisticated driving experience with an aristocratic touch. Let’s feel like being part of an Agatha Christie novel or the Downtown Abbey movie.
