EBERHARD THIESEN – Automobile rarities since 1972

A classic car is not only an exceptional automobile, but also an important cultural asset. Such automobiles express the spirit of its times and the attitude to life of its era. It combines skilful craftsmanship, innovative technology, exquisite materials and often a unique design to create a total masterpiece of art.

The name EBERHARD THIESEN has been involved in trading historic vehicles for almost 50 years and, along with a few others, is one of the pioneers in this field. Nevertheless, today our portfolio also includes selected contemporary classics and modern rarities in limited editions. Thanks to our expertise and a close network in the high-calibre classic car collector scene, we have built up a wide international reputation.

From 2019, we have been operating under the brand name ‘EBERHARD THIESEN Automobile Raritäten seit 1972’ at a location in the north of Hamburg. Since 2021, Bastian Hubald has been on board as a partner in our business, who has almost 20 years of experience in this field.

In a showroom of around 1,500 m2, we present a diverse portfolio of different brands from over 100 years of automobile history. Together with a small professional team, we take care of the commissioning, marketing, sales, logistics and maintenance of the automobile treasures entrusted to us.

Over the decades, our comprehensive experience and know-how have resulted in the change of ownership of almost 10,000 classic cars. We are delighted about your interest in working with us and look forward to supporting you in your requests.
